It certainly has been a long time since I've written in this livejournal, and this will probably be my last entry.  Something has come up that needed attention.

    After over two years in Apkallu Vendetta, in January, I lost a little luster for the HNM scene and FFXI all together, so I decided to try out a new challenge that is WoW's end game.  I haven't spent much time on FFXI for the last four months or so.  After putting in many hours camping many things, contributing 100% effort to helping the linkshell and the people inside, I hardly saw this coming.

    Apkallu Vendetta as we know it broke.  Yes, I actually did see that coming because leadership was lacking because of Drod's real life responsibilities, and it was just too large a linkshell to have no leadership and get by.  But this I didn't see.  Belkin will not repearl me with his new linkshell, just because I have not played hardcore in a while.  All of my long time friends are in his new linkshell.  Even if linkshells are limited to the amount of pearls you can create, I am sure that number will never be reached and I am honestly shocked and appalled that I am not getting a pearl.  Even if I played one day a year, there is absolutely no reason to not pearl me.

    Quite honestly, after being told I will not be pearled.  I do not even want a pearl, and I have a few things to say.  Fuck you Belkin.  Blocking me from enjoying events with the friends I've had for years on FFXI, even though they are few and far between at the moment.  Doing so showed me what kind of person you are.  I haven't liked you since about six months into AV to be perfectly honest.  You are a great event leader, but you are a horrible leader by example.  The things you did in AV, like gearing your red mage within a week of 75 before the career red mage's could, was a horrible example a leader should be setting.  You were a career paladin and just because your flavor of the month was red mage does not mean you should get everything before the career red mage's.  Secondly, all the responsibility you pushed off on Drod.  The linkshell was your responsibility more than others, and you spent more time doing nothing for the linkshell than I have in my four month break over the last two and a half years, as a leader.  AV would have broken over a year ago if it weren't for Drod's hard work, you are lucky to have many of the faces you see in your new linkshell.  I also can't believe that you would ask me for $400 to finish funding your stupid ass NASA bot, and then go and tell me you won't pearl me.  The worst part was I was going to loan you the $400 until then.  What a fool I was.

    I will never completely quit playing FFXI.  My friends on FFXI are some of the best people I know and I love them all, and keeping me from them is a fucking dick move, sir.  I am disgusted.

    It sure has been a while since my last update.  Honestly, I don't have much time to do much other than salvage when I get off work, maybe run to some HNM afterwards, or log.  So there's really not a whole lot to update really.  Well, there is one HUGE thing, but that will come later.


    Let's start it off with some...


    Back in the days, back in the days when I was a wee RDM making his way into Jeuno for the first time on this server.  I walked by a man named Altron.  I thought, wow that is the coolest looking RDM I've ever seen.  Ever since that day it's been a dream of mine to walk around sporting a Duelist's Chapeau and a Dalmatica.  It's also invaluable to a RDM to have this combo, as you get 2 mp/click of completely free refresh.

    When I joined Apkallu Vendetta, I started realizing that this linkshell could fulfill my first FFXI dream.  I waited patiently for two years, watching the people who joined the linkshell before me and a lot of people after me get Dalmaticas.  I almost gave up hope on multiple occasions.  I passed up 3 or 4 Adaman Hauberks, which is hard to do seeing as I have a WAR, who's only piece left is to get an E.body.  I've even had a handful of friends who told me to give it up, pick up an E.body, and they would pay for my Morrigan's Robe, because they didn't want to keep seeing me let down.  That is probably the most selfless thing I have ever heard, and I certainly hold much love for these friends who offered me this.  But, I couldn't put myself up to giving up on my original dream.

    Two years after joining this linkshell on a Sunday evening, we had an Odin fight planned.  As many Odin's before, I went, ready to kite Valkyries with a gleaming ray of hope in my eyes that SE will finally let me finish my RDM.  Normally, Odin would let me down and drop an E.body that I would painfully have to pass..

    ...not this time...


    My time has come.



    My RDM is complete.



    I want to take this time to tell everyone in Apkallu Vendetta thank you.  I even got a massive amount of tells from friends, congratulating me on my achievement.  I also can't even put into words how overwhelmed I was at how many people made their way to Northern San D'oria to watch me uncurse and put it on.  I am very, very grateful for all of you and it meant a lot to me that you all showed up.  <3

   1470 down to 220 points.  A long, long road ahead for E.body.  Even though I will NEVER regret bidding, it's pretty rough waiting for so long, only to have to spend the most points anyone has ever spent on an A.body thus far.

    Anyway it's been a while since my last update and there's a maintenance right now, so I figured I would go ahead and update.  A lot has happened since the last update so let's get to it!

    Se has recently done a huge update including Nyzul mythic weapons, raises to alexandrite drop rates, cheaper dynamis/limbus, new NMs/items and the coolest of all, level syncing.  I have yet to test out level syncing but from what I've seen it's very, very cool.  They went pretty harsh on the scaling down of equipment, but it's still nice to not have to buy equipment for level capped crap when you have five 75 jobs already, and that I can level with anybody I want to, with any of my jobs their level or higher.  Very very cool SE.




    What has been lacking in the last update, I have plenty of this time around.  We've been back on the ball as of late.  Especially in the Dominion of Behemoths.  We went on a stretch of 10 straight claims there.  From two behemoths to a King Behemoth, straight to another King Behemoth.  Of course, no defending ring.  We've also gotten a few Cerberus', Khimairas, Tiamats, and others.  Here are some action shots.





    I don't have any action shots of BD, because most of the time it was late and I didn't think to get any screenshots.

    Anywho I hope our streak of HNM luck continues.  However it has slowed since the massive updating to ffxi servers.


    Go figure our first Nyzul weapon would be DRG.  Nyzul = Limbus?  Guess we'll find out.  Grats Drod on lance, rofl.

    Hallo there.  Guess it's time for ANOTHER UPDATE.  There's quite a bit of things to catch up on from drops, lack of drops, linkshell drama to my own personal rants.  So let's get to it!

    So hello again.  I'm going to start this off with something non-FFXI related.  So here goes.

    About three weeks ago, my boss (2nd shift supervisor) came up missing out of the blue.  No one knew where the hell he went.  Police reports were filed and searches were made.  Eventually they tracked a cell phone call coming from Tennessee.  That was about all we knew till this past weekend.

    Well, Monday I heard what happened to him.  Apparently over this past weekend he was found about three counties east and, what I've heard, he decided to take his own life by gunshot.  I don't know why he would do that, nor did anyone expect it really, but it happened.  He had many health issues including a bad heart and cirrhosis of the liver.  He was also paying for his fathers house, his house, and another house he had rented out and recently got his hours cut from 60/wk to ~32/wk.  So he was probably thinking there was no way out.  But, anyway.. the world lost a good man that day.  He loved fishing, good music, cars, and especially his daughter.  (which makes it even more strange)  Hate to see you go Kenny..

    So because of this I was recently promoted to 2nd shift supervisor, due to me being the next person in the seniority line, and the most qualified for the position.  Hopefully that equates to more money, but we shall see.  Though getting this position, I really didn't want it to be because of my boss dying..


    Anyway...

    Let's get back to some FFXI action.

    I haven't really done a whole lot lately besides salvage.  HNMs for the most part have not been popping during my play time, and every single night when I get home and log on I'm going straight to salvage or assault.  This takes up between one and two hours.  So that gives me an hour or two to do something else and usually nobody is on.  So I either log, campaign or something.

    Well it's been a long road, but my ninja is finally 75.  What started off as another static with Drod, Niv, Ily, Oress and I ended up being just me leveling from 69 to 75 in campaign alone.  It allowed me to catch up some on campaign medals however.  Our static was very nice; NIN, WAR, SCH, RDM, BRD and just some random DD.  When Ily quit the game we kept going for a while, but then Drod started slacking and we didn't party for well over a month.  When Drod and Niv took their (smaller than they said) break, I ended up getting two levels in campaign within 5 days.  After that I just pretty much said forget the static, I just want my ninja finished.

    A monthish later, I am level 75.  Ninja is so hot at 75.  Dinged into turban, byakko's haidate and denali gamashes for ws.  My ninja is pretty decent for just dinging 75, thanks to having leveled warrior previously.   Let's take a look at my NIN's TP gear.

    It has +41 accuracy and +43 attack @20% haste and -5% delay reduction from suppanomimi.  I can get another -5% reduction via AF body, but sacrifice 12 accuracy and attack.  Which is only ok for farming/campaign.  Overall a decent TP build.  Just missing some HQs that I'll probably never get.



    Now let's check out my Blade: Jin setup.

    This setup has +56 accuracy and +63 attack.  Ninja lacks somewhat on the STR/DEX department, without being able to use hecatomb and all.  Depending on how often I land all Jin hits, I may substitute voyager sallet for optical hat, I just haven't had any time to test.  It's a decent setup, I have pretty nice gear overall that adds up pretty nicely.  I honestly haven't had the chance to check it out with warrior sub.  >_>  (campaign)



    I am debating on what I want to do with merits.  I would like to either drop all my dagger merits for katana merits, seeing as my THF has accuracy out the wazoo with full homam.  I will probably either do that, or drop 4 and put 4 into katana.  I'll make up my mind eventually.  Obviously I'd cap out subtle blow and ninja tools expertise.  Too bad all the other ninja merits are total ass.

    I might as well update with what else has been going on.  Most HNM's are out of our timezone, barring TAU, but those are just totally random.  So there's really not much to update with linkshellwise.  Well other than Domo getting his account back.  I haven't heard anything about Hulk yet.  Tryon also lost his account to the original Tryon, so we'll see how that pans out.


    Yay salvage again.  >___>  We're doing it upwards to 5 times a week lately.  Boss runs on Thurs/Sun and farming the others.  Farming runs have come up with practically nothing, or nothing useful.  Our last two boss runs (at LBC) have ran into some hitches with gear pulling.  Our last one we pulled 8/10 gears, and Drod and I tanked LBC like that.  It went very, very smoothly except that we timed out at around 30-40%(?).  If we had just 5-10 more minutes we would have beat it easily.  We both tank pretty well with eachother.  I count his shadows when he has hate, so I know exactly when to voke/ws/warcry hate off him, and (I imagine) he does the same.  I don't think we got hit more than twice each the entire fight.  We kind of wasted some time here and there and it screwed us in the end.

    Last night's run was interesting.  We had a decent amount of people for a farming run so we went up AR and did the normal 4 QQ's and Archaic Chariot that all dropped nothing at all, hooray. >____>  We tried to do the 7 minute floor where you have to kill all the gears and the two ramparts within 7 minutes, but ET did not get an abilities cell (thanks AR droprate), and Yassin died while we were fighting gears because of only one healer.  We cleared the floor in about 10 minutes, just a little too slow.  We had about 15 minutes left so we went up to the Armored Chariot.



    This thing is a fucking joke to tank, rofl.  Inuki died around 92%, so I was solo tanking it the entire time afterwards.  I got hit maybe three times till we timed out, due to bad timings on mortal revolutions and a para proc casting shadows after discharge.  But seriously, this thing is a fucking walk in the park compared to LBC.  Got it to around 60% before we timed out.  Hope we can start killing this guy consistently because we need quite a few of his drops.

    That's really about all I have for this update.  Pretty weak, but I had to because of my NIN hitting 75.  :D

    Hello again.  It is time for an UPDATE!  Let us start with something very important.  My RDM is one piece away from being, as I would call, complete.  How is it only one piece, you ask?  The answer is simple.



    Holy crap I didn't get DEEDED.  So that led to this..



    ...and that leads to this.



    Hurray for the next tier of enfeebling magic.  The one where hardly anything resists you.

    So basically that leaves one single piece left until I can finally walk around on RDM with my head high in the air, and that piece is Dalmatica.  I am currently second in line for it, under Kimberly, who for some reason wants it because it looks pretty.  >_>  The things I have to go through...

    I can, however, say one thing.  I am 100% ready for when I finally get a chance to shout out the winning bid on an Aquarian Abjuration: body.  How am I ready, you ask?  The answer again, is simple.



    Well whaddya know.  That's a cursed dalmatica in my bazaar.  You know what's the best part about having that cursed dalmatica?  Sure, being ready for abjuration is very nice, but I also got the materials, and it crafted at pretty much no cost to me whatsoever, LOL.

    Let me elaborate on that.  Two nights before the Mog bonanza prizes were given out, we claimed a Behemoth with around 7 people.  It dropped two hides that went freelot, and I won one of them.  I ended up selling it for 500k even.  Well, after mog bonanza was over I decided since behemoth hides were cheaper I would just buy one now so I can have a hide ready for when I get my cursed dalmatica made.  So I found one in a bazaar for 380k.  About a week after buying that we claimed another NQ behemoth and it dropped one hide.  We had a full alliance there, but the hide still went freelot, to which I lotted like a 988, and won again.  So that gives me two hides and 120k all together.  So I got the two hides crafted into leathers.  Then Palin being the nice guy he is, crafted a siren's macrame and traded me for one of my leathers, and I also gave him 50k since it wasn't completely fair.  So that covered the two main materials.  The rest I bought for maybe 50k at most, and Palin, who is 98.8(104) clothcraft, crafted my cursed dalmatica.  So that means I spent 100k, after making 120k off the first hide, which basically means that I made 20k and got a free cursed dalmatica.  Go me!  I had the luck rolling in this week.  (more later to prove this)

    So let's get down to what the linkshell has been doing lately.  Same old HNM shit, as usual.  We did pop some JoL the other day....



    Fucking Absolute Virtue, rofl.  My reraise wore not half a second before he killed me.  Anyway, out of two JoL we got two love torques and a novia earring, which is REALLY GOOD compared to our normal JoL streaks.   Congrats Grish on your torque.  I forgot who got the other two things, lol.

    Back to the life of Malak.  My NIN hit 74 the other night while I was campaigning.  My katana was two levels under so I had to go to the tree and solo steelshells for about 3 hours to recap it.  That sure was fun.  >_>  I can't wait till it hits 75 so I can get some of those level 75 goodies.

    Our salvage group also is going fairly strong.  We did BR the other night.  Pulled all the gears flawlessly (GJ ET), and went after LBC.  Holy shit is LBC a joke if you kill all the gears.  LBC is a fucking monster if you don't, and I mean seriously... it's retardedly hard if you don't.  But anyway, we killed LBC and it dropped pretty much crapsauce.



    I guess the drops are decent, but if one of them were the 25 skadi feet piece, that would have completed our second piece.  My skadi jambeaux.  :P  We tried the next session to do the bee rampart and LBC, which we techincally completed, except one gear linked and warped, so we just ran up and tried to fight LBC in "i'mgonafuckyourworld" mode.  Of course we didn't last too long.  I think it was at 84% when we were wiping.  Our last two salvage runs have netted us just a couple crappy 15 pieces, so hopefully we start getting lucky soon.  We also decided that during the other days, the people who can make it, would do some QQNs because of the total shit droprate and the amount of morrigan's robes we need, that it would take entirely too long to complete.  We will spend Thursdays and Sundays going for the bosses.

    Sooooooooooo we're back on the beat on ENM, I hope.  Our old group ended up splitting because, well, a 5-6 way split is just too far to go with most drops (sans Hagun).  So they all went their own ways.  ET goes with Belkin, I believe.  Drod uses Drod to go with Oress and Gress.  While Niv, Drod on Kingking, and I do ours.  Very late last night, after salvage, I asked Drod if he wanted to go do the ENMs.  So we all got ready and went up the mountain.  I was already inside as they had to get key items, which took forever thanks to weather not budging for well over an hour.  Anyway we did Brothers.  I died to some fluke mortal ray, I still don't fucking know how since my back was turned, but we got junk from it.  So we headed out to do antlion ENM.  It went pretty well.... I must say....

    That shit is going for 2.4 mil right now.  We ended up getting ~792k split.  Hell... yeah...!

    Hello there, welcome back.  It has been an interesting week.  So lets just cover the normal areas.  No, I don't crop pictures (for the most part), so deal with it!





    We've been on the same roll as we usually are.  Fafnirs, Nidhoggs, Aspids, Khimairas, Cerberus', Ixions, Sandworms, KVs, and various other shit.  We've gotten the usual shit, a couple dalmies (Zihn and Altimus), which moves me up the line to second (again).  I did get to fight something new...

So that was pretty cool.  Drod won the bid on torque, he also got a black tathlum the day before.  FARMFORDRODLS.  Ok, yeah it was a really easy fight.  Looks like a pain to tank though, hits really fast.  Other than that, not much to say about this department.  So let's move onto the next.

    Oh right, we haven't done it lately.  Next!







    So our salvage group has been pretty active.  We go twice a week, once on Thursday and again on Sunday.  I got my 15 piece for Skadi Jambeaux, so now I just have to get the 25 piece from (UGH) Long-Bowed Chariot.  Our run yesterday (Sunday), turned up nothing whatsoever.  What rotten luck.  Props to Drod on passing on the first magic though, and me having to spam chests for dusty potions and strange milks!  As he would say, he's pretty good at this game!


                                                                     

    So I do stuff to entertain myself in the linkshell's downtime.  I finally got some people to do an ODS and got a Senjuinrikio.  I soloed probably 200 points over a couple nights in the tree, then Palin helped me the other night finishing them up to unlock latent.  So my ninja is pretty much 75 ready now with Senju/Perdu, and all my other gear.

    I was a part of a (somewhat) small man Byakko the other night.  It was pretty damn fun.  Aside from leveling ninja in xp parties, I haven't tanked for anybody in a party situation.  I have soloed many things on RDM/NIN though.  Anyway, this guy wipes shadows fast as shit, lol.  It's like Ichi, triple attack, Ni, triple attack, Ichi, diaga III, fuck get off me.  We had four RDM/NIN's along with two BRD, a WHM, BLM, SMN and THF.  It was pretty easy, none of us died except the WHM when Drod asked for a protect.  Around 20% or something, Drod Jr. decided to hit the power button on Drod's computer, so we had to bounce with three people, but we still did alright.  Here is a picture of the setup.

    Earlier tonight I decided to get rid of this NQ hickory shield and pop some Gration, solo.



    He's really, really easy.  Just really boring and frustrating when you get intimidated.  Takes around 1:45-2:00 to solo.  Of course with my luck, no drop.  At least I get an inventory space back.  I'm trying to get some extra cash to buy materials for a cursed dalmatica so I can have one ready for the day I finally get the abjuration...

    Yes, I forgot my Mahatma slops, shut up.


    So yeah, that's basically this week in a nutshell.  Nothing super exciting, just the same normal crap.

    This is a picture I took a long ass time ago.  If you've ever seen The Neverending Story, you should know what that is.  (they're kind of close though) :(


    This has been a pretty decent week for me.  I've taken my ninja to about 6,000 from 73 all in campaign.  So now it has some Dusk gloves and a Suppanomimi.  I got a taste of that, and I love it.  I can't wait till it hits 75 for double the haste from gear.  The only problem I have is that since AV changed rules for KS99, no one wants to do ODS anymore; so I can't get anyone to help me get a Senjuinrikio.  :(  Why do I like ninja so much?!  Check this out.



    Chain #2 solo on Tough mobs at level 72, lmao.  The only time I got hit during all three mobs was the last 4% of that final mob.  Ninja is pretty damn sexy.  Seven shadows, haste gear up the ass, dual wield IV, low delay weapons, debuffing abilities... it's just nasty.  I just wish it could use the Hecatomb set.  (LOL)

    I also decided to help out some linkshell members with a ZNM, which would have been my first.  It was the Puk ZNM.  It's not particularly hard, however can hurt pretty bad with wind shear on someone with no shadows up.  Killed a couple of them and picked up a little toy to mess around with for RDM.



    It's not great or anything, but with the high base damage I'd like to see what kind of vorpal blades my RDM/DRK can push out.  I bet I could push over 1,000+ damage on a lesser colibri.


    It has been about four months since my last piece of homam that I picked up, the Homam Gambieras, which made me 4/5 on the set.  My bane was the cosciales.  I saved up sea points, not spending even one point, for four months waiting for all of the paladins in the linkshell to finally get the cosciales and about a month ago they decided to take tiers off of them.  This opened it up to everyone.  It actually made it to where I could get them faster, without having to wait for some paladins.  I think we had two left that didn't have them.  Well, after seeing about four cosciales drop, tonight was my chance.  I dropped every one of my points down on them, two hundred and forty.

    It was a sloppy ass Proto-Omega fight.  I really don't like when we put the less experienced tanks in fights like this, but we pulled through after farming up a magenta and smoky chip.  We were all kind of standing there when the chest popped, so I ran over and hit it.  What did I see...?



    FUCK YES!  FIVE OUT OF FIVE BABY!  The moment my THF has been waiting for, for almost a year.  Homam cosciales are MINE!



    Honestly, at this rate, my THF has a chance to be finished before my RDM is.  The only things I am lacking for my THF is Sirocco kukri, Skadi Jambeaux and Love Torque.  Of course aside from e-peen items like Snipers +1, Speed Belt, etc.


    We also did some salvage tonight.  We tried Bhaflau Remnants for the first time as our new group.  Our group consists of Drod, Nivean, Everything, Gress, Oress, Btmtaru, Charlemagne, Nemises (who wasn't there tonight) and I.  We did pretty well.  Since we were short and it was only our first time there, we decided to go for the Skirmisher and practice pulling gears.  We went to the bees and ended up seeing the Skirmisher not once, not twice, NOT THREE TIMES, but four times.  I about shit my pants.  Not only did we see it four times, it dropped the 35 usukane sune-ate piece... twice.  Talk about some serious luck.  Congratulations to ET and Niv for those 35 pieces.  Our static needs four usukane sune-ates so tonight was pretty fucking hot.  ET did a good job on pulling gears, although he aggroed one and we let two warp due to mainly a couple restorals going off.  Drod wanted Niv and Charle to practice tanking LBC to show them it's no joke.  Needless to say, they died.  I was already gone because well, they didn't need me for that.  ^_________^  We only had like five minutes left.  


    I will conclude this update to my Livejournal with my screenshot of the day.  I was in the aery, bored as usual, when we started talking about Sandworm and how you would have to zerg it down to get it's title now that it does doomvoid.  So a minute of thinking about zerging and that move that steals all buffs from everyone in range... brought up this conversation.  Enjoy!

    I've been playing FFXI for around 3 years now.  What keeps me here?  The answer is simple, friends.  Without my close friends I would not be playing this game, no matter how few of them there are.  I would like to take this time to post a tribute to them.

I apologize for the quality of some of these pictures.  Most of these are old pictures taken by myself before I knew how to edit FFXI's settings in the registry.  (So I'm not TOTALLY jacking your idea Drod!  Since you took pictures off our linkshell site!!)




   This guy I have known since I was nine years old.  I used to live where he resides now, about 14-15 years ago.  We kept in touch for a while after I moved except about a 5-6 year era.  I used to party a lot and shit, then I had to quit my partying ways due to work and school.  So I took up playing FFXI in the meantime to keep me entertained.  Well I started on the Unicorn server.  Then after a month or so, I remembered Palin's brother telling me that he played FFXI a lot.  So I searched all over my room for his email that his brother gave me.  After I found it, we hooked up again and I started a new character on Bahamut, where he was.

    Palin is one of my oldest and best friends in real life and in game.  He's one of the most hilarious guys I've ever met.  Always finds a way to make me laugh.  He is also a very helpful person and is skilled on his jobs.  I can ask him almost any time for help and he will come help me, providing he's not busy with something important.  I am somewhat saddened that he changed shifts and I don't see him much through the week, but I catch him on the weekends and we have fun chatting away in my ventrilo server.







    Guilt is also a long time real life friend of mine.  He lives in the same area as Palin.  He's a very skilled tank, melee and BLM.  When Palin, Guilt and I low man things, we know we have a top notch tank that makes it easy on us or a black mage that squeezes out as much damage as he possibly can to speed up the fight.  He has two kids now and doesn't play as much as he used to, but we still have fun together.  Guilt is another key as to why I still play this game.







    Drod.  My best friend on this game.  He really is like a brother to me.  We have done SO much together, even from back in the days of HandOfBastok.  Back when I didn't have a linkshell, a friend of mine (coming up soon) introduced me to HandOfBastok, which was run by a man named Drod.  I respected Drod highly because he was very knowledgeable about game mechanics and highly skilled.  Over the years we have practically become inseparable.  I talk to him almost all the time.  I've joked about how out of my ~400,000 lines of chat that I've accrued, probably 200,000 of them are tells to Drod (or party chat with him).  Funny thing is, that statement is probably true.  I even talk to him when we're not on FFXI, through AIM.  I honestly do not like doing a lot of things without Drod being there keeping me entertained.  We've helped HoB members, duoed avatars/NMs, been through multiple EXP statics, assaults, salvages, besieged, campaigns, even farmed together.  He is probably the single most highly skilled over-all player that I know.  I hold the utmost respect and trust for Drod, and I know he'll never let me down. (unless I give him 10 minutes, LOL inside joke)








    LOL Nivean <3.  I think of her as a sister.  She is Drod's girlfriend in real life.  They have a baby together.  Even though she makes it easy for me to crack jokes at her, which I capitalize on all the time, I hold much respect for her.  She works hard in real life to keep things going at the Drod/Nivean household.  She is also a very skilled FFXI player.  Probably one of the better females I've seen play this game.  Nivean has a huge heart and will help any time she can.  (even when I give her 10 minutes! LOL)  ..and I will do the same for her any time she needs it.







    Ilysium I didn't meet until after I joined AV.  He's a very skilled PLD tank.  Looking back and remembering the good old times of spike flailing Fafnir and him single tank holding it while we recovered.  We used to crack some good jokes back and forth to eachother.  He quit a few months ago due to wanting to get his real life back, which is understandable.  I do miss him and all the fun we had together.  (looking at that picture makes me love where I have my recast located now, lmao)






    Grishnakh, my mexican compadre!  Grish is in the "Findlay Crew" that consists of Palin, Guilt, he and I.  We're always helping eachother out any way we can.  Grish is a highly skilled THF, as it is his main.  He quit for a while and sold his account to Palin, which helped us get 50BST, LOL.  But, thankfully he came back.  He may be the target of most of our jokes, but he can hold his own, against our jokes and in game.  He likes to play solo a lot, and I can tell whenever I help him out with things.  He hardly needs any help, lol!







    I met Taurrrus back in the days of ShinraInc.  Her, Guilt and Palin were pretty good friends, as did we become.  When everyone is offline, she'll most likely be on and ready to chat!  I don't see her too much due to my very busy FFXI schedule from being in a top notch HNMLS.  But, I still help her with whatever I can when she needs it.  I also like how she shares the same astrological sign as me!  Her birthday is the day after mine.  :D


                                


    Aside from Palin, Guilt and Grishnakh; Keltisia is my oldest friend on FFXI.  She is a very nice and funny girl.  I met her in West Ronfaure one day while I was pearlless, and she introduced me to Drod.  She caused one of the key moments to my success in FFXI.  I owe her my entire FFXI career.  To this day I will help Keltisia any time she needs it, without hesitation.   She just needs to finally get 75 on her samurai!



    That basically covers my closest FFXI friends.  I have many friends in FFXI, but these are the ones that I consider close.  Hope you enjoyed this read.
